Representing Australia at the 9th World Championship in Massage.
3–5 July 2026.

Every year, the International Massage Association brings together the world’s leading massage therapists for three days of competition in Copenhagen. Around 250 practitioners from more than 50 countries take part. The 2026 edition is the ninth.

I’m competing in the Sports Massage category — deep tissue, myofascial release, MET, neuromuscular technique. It’s the work I do every day in the Berlin praxis, brought to a stage where the judges are themselves world-class therapists. I’ll be representing Australia, my country of origin, while practising from the clinic I’ve built in Berlin over the past six years.

The point isn’t a trophy. It’s to place fascia and trigger-point work — the specialism that defines this practice — on an international platform alongside peers who push the discipline forward.
