My name is Joshua Snow, and my work in myotherapy, fascia therapy, and rehabilitation has developed through years of study, hands-on clinical experience, teaching, and personal life experience.
After finishing my studies in 2009 at the Kangan Institute in Melbourne, I began working in the wellness and therapy industry in Australia. Early in my career I worked at Daydream Island in Queensland, and later as one of the first therapists at the opening of Isika Spa in Crown Metropol in Melbourne in 2010.
Very quickly I became interested in understanding not only where pain appears in the body, but why it develops and how structural and fascial limitations contribute to it. This led me to further study personal training and biomechanics in 2010 to better understand movement, posture, and the relationship between fascia, muscles, and the nervous system.
Studying massage therapy at Kangan Institute laid a strong foundation for my work. The student clinic there was especially valuable because it allowed me to work with real case studies over longer periods of time. Treating the same patients repeatedly helped me develop a detailed anatomical understanding of the body and how pain patterns evolve.
I was fortunate to learn under highly experienced teachers including Gabriel Perconte, Denise McFarlane, and Pauline Kelly, whose mentorship helped shape my approach to bodywork and therapeutic practice.
Entering the wellness industry immediately after my studies further deepened my understanding of how the body and mind are connected. Working with a wide range of individuals in professional environments helped me see how important it is to combine treatment with education. Helping people understand their bodies, prevent injury, and take part in their own recovery has become a central part of my work.
Since 2021 I have been working as a freelance therapist in Berlin, building my own practice while collaborating with multidisciplinary clinics. During this time I worked with Praxis Anjali in Charlottenburg and also began teaching massage therapy at Kisa Akademie.
Teaching allowed me to further refine my understanding of therapeutic techniques and how to communicate concepts around fascia, pain, and rehabilitation.
Today I continue treating clients in Berlin and currently work in a private multidisciplinary practice in Charlottenburg at Pestalozzistraße 99, near Savignyplatz. I see clients there every Tuesday from 9:00 to 21:00.
Alongside my professional journey, starting a family in Berlin has also deeply influenced my work. This experience led me to study and apply techniques related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, nervous system regulation, and the role of fascia during these changes in the body.
Through both research and personal experience, I began integrating pre- and postnatal care more intentionally into my work, helping individuals manage pain, stress, and physical adaptation during and after pregnancy.
With myotherapy and fascial therapy, my goal is first to understand the cause of pain and structural limitation, and then to treat it effectively and efficiently. This includes investigating how the body moves, identifying fascial restrictions, working with trigger points, and supporting the nervous system.
Over time this approach has led me to combine hands-on therapy with education, workshops, and practical tools that help people maintain mobility and recovery between treatments.
My long-term vision is to continue developing a fascia-focused practice in Berlin that combines treatment, education, and eventually a dedicated therapeutic space.
